HistoryBisque, Beads & Beyond, established in 2004 has grabbed the creative imagination of Berkshire County residents and tourist alike. The unique do it yourself art studio and bead shop was the brain child of former city attorney Donna Todd Rivers. It was her drive and determination that grew the business from 750 sq feet when it opened in 2004 to 3000 square feet by 2006 in a local friendly neighborhood. In 2010, faced with the pangs of growth, she moved and expanded the business to Downtown Pittsfield. Now located in the heart of the city's art and entertainment district, Bisque, Beads & Beyond is a primary destination when downtown. In 2010, the move faciliated the expansion of the bead shop to over 1500 square feet and features thousands of czech glass strands that Ms. Rivers personally brought back from her travels to the Czech Republic.
