La Frantz Lapidary has been operating in Lower Manhattan, Diamond District, for many years. Previously owned by Alfred La Frantz, the business was taken over by John David in 1976. John guided the company through the years with his forward thinking up until his untimely passing. The jewelry shop is still operated by his wife, Sandra Went, who continues to provide renowned services to customers across the US.
