History

The practice was started in 1960 by Dr. Jordan Levinson and bought by Dr. Bruce Levinson in 1997. The practice has grown and in 2005, Dr. Joseph DiTota joined the practice. Eyecare of CNY specializes in the treatment of eye disease, specialty contact lens care and pediatric care. The office is one of the only offices to offer new technologies including CRT (corneal refractive therapy). This is a procedure in which the doctor fits the patient with a prosthetic contact lens for sleeping, enabling the patient to see 20/20 all day without the use of day time contacts or glasses. Eyecare of CNY has two locations at 2901 Court Street in Syracuse and 105 Nelson Street in Cazenovia. All exams are made by appointment only. We do accept new patients and look forward to seeing you in the near future.
