Being compassionate, caring, with personal integrity allows me to provide counseling to adolescents and adults. I specialize in issues ranging from depression, anxiety, difficult familial and interpersonal relationships, adjustment and transition to different life stages, loss and grief, and multicultural issues including working with the LGBT community. I enjoy working with individuals and have extensive experience working with both adolescents and adults. My work includes late stage adolescents transitioning from high school to college, individuals going through the stage of emerging adulthood, and adults of all ages. I incorporate an assimilative, integrative approach in working with people in individual psychotherapy that draws from the psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and humanistic client centered theoretical approaches to treatment.
