Our shop opened its doors in 1995 and has quickly become known among neighbors as Laura's Place. Thanks to Laura Bekkerman, her experience, skills, freedom of ideas and job quality, our place quickly gained the top spot among similar shops. Since 1995, hundreds if not thousands of satisfied customers keep coming back. Quality and customer satisfaction is what we put above all. We do not think that our job is done until we see satisfied and thankful customers coming back with yet another dress. Laura, the owner and principal dressmaker at Laura's Place, established the shop after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1994. Prior to attending the school, Laura was a seamstress, pattern maker and successful fashion designer. Her leadership and enthusiasm are what drive and keep our business alive and successful.
