SpecialtiesStretch Smart Studio was designed as a haven for learning and maintaining functional movement in the body. By teaching the basics of posture, self assessment and body awareness in each class, we empower each participant with the knowledge to understand their strengths and weaknesses in order to improve overall balance. We are not rewriting the anatomy books or creating some new form of exercise, but simply taking the fundamentals of the body and the way it moves and sharing it with the our patrons. If you can better understand the things you do that cause weakness, lack of flexibility and pain, then ultimately you become a vital part in making the proper changes in your day to day life. Stretch Smart Classes are a sequence of functional movements that increase flexibility and overall muscle balance. Designed as a total body assessment that isolates specific muscles in repetition to gradually gain mobility and awareness. Self Care is the key to better health. Stretch Smart was created to teach people how to stretch properly to improve on their limitations and maintain their strengths. HistoryEvolution Combat Club Muay Thai and MMA is a multi-discipline mixed martial arts training organization started in 2003 as an alternative to the existing traditional one-dimensional training centers available at the time. We train a variety of fighting styles and incorporate the best aspects of each to create a combat system which is both street effective and ring ready. The club is composed of coaches and members as opposed to teachers and students. We prefer this type of organizational structure as it tends to produce a more mutually beneficial training relationship and lessens the symptomatic ego problems often found in martial arts. At Evolution Combat Club we train elements of various disciplines including Muay Thai, Boxing, catch as catch can and Western Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. By incorporating aspects of all these different styles we strive to attain proficiency in all ranges of unarmed combat, from standing to ground grappling.
