Dr. Hsu graduated from Rutgers School of Public Health with a Master of Public Health. She received her Medical Degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she was given the Rudolph C. Camishion MD Award for Academic Excellence in Surgery. She also completed her Residency and Internship in General Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She obtained a Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery from St. Joseph Mercy Health System, Colon and Rectal Surgery program, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
