The Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, founded in 1983 by David and Marsha Karpeles, houses a vast collection of over a million historical documents spanning literature, science, religion, political history, exploration, music, and art. With a mission to inspire curiosity and promote learning, the museum offers free admission to the public and rotates its collection between locations three times a year.

Visitors can explore fascinating exhibits such as original manuscripts of iconic works like The Wedding March music, Einstein's E=MC2 formula, and the Ten Commandments from The Gutenberg Bible, as well as historical documents like the Surrender Agreement of Germany at the end of World War II. The museum's newest mini museum in St. Augustine, FL, provides a unique opportunity to delve into the world of rare manuscripts and historical artifacts.

Wonderful and knowledgable staff here. I saw Toni Quest's portrait exhibition here yesterday. What a treat! What an amazing space with incredible natural lighting.

Impressive bank building with quite historic an historic yet limited set of manuscripts. Admission is free. I enjoyed it. Expect to spent no more than 45 minutes inside.
