Joseph Andrew Ricci, MD

Dr. Harris graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine with multiple awards and honors, including membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He then went on to complete a rigorous five-year residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. This prolific training included comprehensive patient care from start-to-finish in an underserved area and the performance of almost 3000 operative procedures. Dr. Harris also has a number of research publications, book chapters and had presented his work both nationally and internationally. Dr. Harris is now an attending physician with office hours in Great Neck, a position as staff physician at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Hofstra University College of Medicine, and a member of the New York Head and Neck society.

Dr. Mark L. Smith is a world-renowned expert in microsurgery and breast reconstruction. He has pioneered many advances in breast reconstruction including enhanced recovery, hybrid microsurgical techniques and lymphatic reconstruction. HIs practice is solely devoted to reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery with a special interest in complex reconstruction and revision procedures.. Dr. Smith's commitment to clinical excellence and patient experience has earned him numerous Patients' Choice Awards. He has also been consistently listed in Castle Connolly's: Top Doctors in Plastic Surgery, Top Doctors for Cancer, and America's Top Doctors; Newsweek Magazine's America's Top Doctors for Cancer; New York Magazine's Best Doctors; Best Doctors in America and New York Super Doctors. Dr. Smith is vice-chairman of surgery for Northwell Health System and vice-president for surgical services for Northwell's eastern region. He also serves as director of reconstructive oncology for Northwell's Cancer Institute and is the executive director of the Friedman Center for Breast and Lymphatic Surgery. Dr. Smith holds the rank of professor of surgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
