John Elmer Paddock, M.D.

Dr. Ciralsky is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her practice interests include corneal diseases and corneal surgery, advanced cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and comprehensive ophthalmology.Dr. Ciralsky received her undergraduate education at Brown University where she graduated Magna cum laude. She also received the Anne Crosby Emery Fellowship upon graduation, an award given to two graduating seniors for scholarly ability and excellence of character. She then obtained her M.D. from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She continued her training at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, where she completed her Ophthalmology Residency and Cornea Fellowship. During her fellowship, Dr. Ciralsky was elected Chief Clinical Fellow of the Cornea service. She was also a recipient of the prestigious Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowship.Dr. Ciralsky has been recognized as a gifted educator. She was awarded Fellow of the Year, an award given by the residents of Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary for dedication and contribution to resident education. Dr. Dan Goldschlag is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at The Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) at Weill Cornell Medical College. A noted fertility specialist, he is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Goldschlag completed his B.A. and M.S. in 1988 and his M.D. in 1992 at Wayne State University in Detroit. After a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Goldschlag received his subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at CRM. In 1999, he joined the Center's faculty. Dr. Goldschlag is a member of numerous medical associations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr.Goldschlag has a thriving practice in reproductive medicine that includes patients growing their families using in vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic diagnosis and egg donation, as well as other advanced assisted reproductive techniques. Fertility Preservation & Oncofertility Dr. Goldschlag has an expertise in caring for patients who wish to preserve or extend their fertility using CRM's fertility preservation services. In addition to the preservation of embryos, recent advances in cryopreservation technology have made oocyte (egg) and embryo freezing viable options for women. Minimally Invasive Surgery & Disorders of Delayed Sexual Development Dr. Goldschlag is an expert in advanced surgical methods and is particularly skilled in the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques. These techniques can be of great help to patients with conditions including uterine anomalies, recurrent miscarriages, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders and anatomical causes of infertility, including blocked fallopian tubes, adhesions or scar tissue, endometrial polyps and fibroid tumors. He is also an authority on the treatment of young women with disorders affecting normal sexual development, including premature ovarian failure and delayed puberty. Dr. Goldschlag has published and lectured on a wide range of topics in reproductive health. Yaffa M. Vitberg, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She serves as the Program Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine.Dr. Vitberg received her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University in 2003 where she received the merit-based Justice Brandeis Scholarship. During her undergraduate sophomore year, she was selected for early admission to Tufts University School of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree in 2007. Upon graduation, Dr. Vitberg was awarded the Sydney S. Gellis Award in Pediatrics for outstanding achievement in the field of Pediatrics. Her pediatric internship and residency training were completed at NewYork Presbyterian - Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center, where she served an additional year as Chief Resident. Dr. Vitberg went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at NewYork Presbyterian - Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center in 2014.Dr. Vitberg has presented her research at numerous scientific conferences throughout the United States. She is a dedicated teacher and has taught in numerous capacities for the Departments of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine and the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Vitberg has volunteered in Uganda as a health education instructor while seeing patients in Mulago Hospital in Kampala, Uganda. She has also spent time in the emergency room setting in Jerusalem, Israel. Dr. Vitberg plays the cello in both the Cornell Music and Medicine Orchestra and the Columbia University Medical Center Symphony Orchestra.
