James Harrington, PMHNP-BC, is a skilled and empathetic nurse practitioner on the team of providers at Mindful Urgent Care, a mental health urgent care center in New York City's Flatiron District. James was drawn to psychiatry after working as a registered nurse in medicine, surgery, trauma, and intensive care, where he found himself addressing the emotional impact of his patients' experiences in addition to treating their medical diagnoses. His medical training, natural empathy, and sharp intuition give him a unique ability to help his patients alleviate suffering and achieve their full potential.
