Founded in 1904, Greater New York Hospital Association is a trade association representing more than 280 not-for-profit hospitals and continuing care facilities, both voluntary and public, in the metropolitan area and throughout the State, as well as in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. It offers education programs on a variety of topics, including charitable care, billing and finance issues, mental health laws, patient privacy, and emergency preparedness and disaster planning. The center provides information on various legal issues and interpretation of statutory and regulatory laws. It is affiliated with the Continuing Care Leadership Coalition.
