Jennie McGraw Tower

Jennie McGraw Tower, a historic landmark at Cornell University, houses a unique collection of 21 bells played primarily by student chimesmasters. With its recently renovated roof, the tower offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy spectacular views and live chimes concerts from various vantage points on campus.

The Cornell Chimesmasters, who provide music for events such as weddings, have a rich legacy, with Jennifer Courtley Lory-Moran marking nearly 25 years as the chimes advisor. The tower is currently undergoing renovations as part of the Chimes Revival Project, with plans to reopen in the spring of 2025.
