After graduating high school in 1988, she moved to Madrid, Spain, to pursue her medical degree at Universidad Autnoma de Madrid, Facultad De Medicina and eventually become a doctor. Once she completed her medical degree in 1994, she soon moved to the United States. There, she completed her residency at Brooklyn Hospital Center and became board certified in internal medicine.In 2000, Dr. Farhat opened Jana HealthCare at its current location in Bay Ridge. Brooklyn. She speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic to serve the rich and diverse cultures of New York City. After several years in practice, Dr. Farhat noticed that many of her patients needed help with losing weight.
