Jamesville Community Church

Jamesville Community Church is a welcoming congregation that embraces all Christ followers in the Jamesville, NY community. As a result of a merger between the United Methodists and Presbyterians in 1951, they consider themselves the Christian church for the community, offering love and acceptance to all who wish to share the love of God. They also provide a home for the River of Joy Baptist Church, a Korean congregation that worships in their sanctuary on Sundays.

The church is currently in the process of searching for a permanent pastor, but in the meantime, they are fortunate to have the Rev. Karen Chamis serving them part-time. They offer both in-person and online worship services, with a solid group of in-person parishioners and regular participants on their Facebook Live services. Jamesville Community Church prioritizes the safety of their congregation, observing necessary COVID-19 safety measures and providing the option to worship online if symptoms or exposure are present.
