Jaikirshan Khatri, M.D. is the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center as well as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College.Dr. Khatri earned his Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, summa cum laude, from the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio, and his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown, Ohio. He served his residency and a postdoctoral research fellowship in cardiology at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Khatri completed his training with fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Emory University, Atlanta, Ga. Previously, Dr. Khatri served as the Director of Complex Coronary Intervention at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio prior to being recruited to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center to develop the complex coronary intervention program and direct the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories.Dr. Khatri is regarded as a leading authority in the field of complex coronary intervention. Along with co-authoring numerous manuscripts on complex coronary intervention, Dr. Khatri has been an invited speaker at a host of local, national, and international conferences. He has trained numerous interventional cardiologists who now lead complex coronary intervention programs throughout the country.

She is interested in establishing longitudinal care relationships with patients, especially in oncology, oncology-related pain, lymphatics, portal hypertension, and dialysis access. Her research interests in nuclear imaging include novel tracers in oncology and lymphatics and hybrid approaches to care utilizing non-invasive infusion and interventional techniques. She is actively involved in teaching and mentorship and in advancing the goals of diversity, equity, and inclusion in medicine.
