Dr. Jones graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in Biochemistry. She received her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. She completed internship and residency at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, followed by fellowship training at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr Jones has received numerous awards including Castle and Connolly Top Doctors for the past 20 years. She had been chosen to serve on their distinguished medical advisory board. Dr Jones has been awarded Yelp’s Compassionate Physician Award as well as being named one of American Top 100 Black Doctors. She is the author of the best selling book Medical Parenting: How to Navigate Health, Wellness and the Medical System with Your Child. Dr. Jones’ otolaryngology practice includes the care of adults and children. Her clinical interests cover a broad range of disorders affecting the ears, nose, throat, as well as the head and neck. These include cochlear implants, congenital hearing loss including congenital cytomegalovirus infection, progressive hearing loss, cholesteatoma, conductive hearing loss and microtia as well as treatment with hearing aids, bone conduction sound processors, otologic reconstructive surgery, and cochlear implantation. She is also experienced with the management of cleft palate and velopharyngeal insufficiency affecting speech and swallowing.Dr. Drusin is also experienced in the management of airway and swallowing disorders including laryngeal clefts, airway narrowing, and obstructive sleep apnea with minimally invasive endoscopic techniques as well as open procedures. She is also trained in the management of congenital and acquired neck masses including thyroglossal duct and branchial cleft cysts, enlarged lymph nodes, and vascular anomalies including hemangioma.Throughout her career, Dr. Drusin has been recognized with awards for her service and teaching. Dr. Pirmohamed is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York Presbyterian Hospital. As a specialist in Non-Invasive Cardiology and Vascular Medicine he interprets and performs stress tests, echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds and consults on the wards of New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. Dr. Pirmohamed was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and moved to Washington D.C. for his early education. He attended Georgetown University, earning his undergraduate degree in Economics and Spanish before staying to complete his medical degree. He moved to New York City for his Internal Medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. He then completed his training in Cardiovascular Diseases and Echocardiography at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill-Cornell Medical College. Dr. Pirmohamed joined the full time faculty at Weill-Cornell upon completion of his training.Dr. Pirmohamed’s main clinical interests include working with medical trainees and providing advanced education to international clinicians in non-invasive cardiovascular interventions. He is involved in international outreach to provide health care to various communities. His research focuses on dissemination and quality improvement methodologies to investigate and improve barriers to health care delivery in these communities. He is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, the Society for Vascular Medicine and the American College of Cardiology.Dr. Pirmohamed is fluent in Spanish.
