Irondequoit Police Department

The Irondequoit Police Department is one of the largest town police forces in Monroe County, N.Y. It provides services to protect and preserve the rights of citizens and property owners of the town. The department offers bike patrol, case investigation, gun registration and emergency readiness services to the residents. The Irondequoit Police Department is accredited by the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services Office of Public Safety. It maintains road patrol, community service and investigative service sections. The department s community service unit supports and conducts the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program, which teaches children about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
