Institute For Community Living

Founded in 1986, the Institute for Community Living is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of health care programs for patients with mental illness and developmental disabilities. It serves more than 5,000 individuals in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens, N.Y. The organization offers a range of parent advocacy and family support programs. It provides education, clinical treatment, skills training, mental assessment, crisis intervention, program monitoring and 24-hour emergency services. The organization additionally offers medication management, consulting, testing, medical evaluation, rehabilitative, and physical, occupational and speech therapy solutions.
