History

For the past 13 years, Brooklyn designer Sigal de-Mayo has been creating uniquely fashionable bags and accessories that are perfectly suited to an urban lifestyle.The inspiration for her INSIDERS1 product line is drawn from the creative energy and spirit of New York City, and mirrors the essence of the city itself: high-quality, durable, functional and chic. The original product line features digitally customized image collages of New York, followed by five more favorite European cities that de-Mayo travelled to: Rome, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona and Amsterdam. Every photo is taken by de-Mayo herself from the unique point of view of an insider. These photos are then put through a sophisticated art collage process and hand-printed on the finest leather, all in the Brooklyn Navy Yard Factory. The final product brings a unique design that ages beautifully and builds character over the years.
