Built in 1897 by architect Henry Hardenbergh (Dakota Building and Plaza Hotel), on the so-called “Millionaire’s Row” in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, the buildings were designed in the Beaux Arts Renaissance style. Il Gattopardo serves traditional Southern Italian comfort food that has been adapted for the contemporary palate without compromising the authenticity of the cuisine, which became a must to its loyal upscale New Yorker clientele.
