Hyunmi Choi, MD

Dr. Claire Riley earned an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and a medical degree from Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S). She completed an internship in internal medicine and her residency in neurology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. In addition, she completed a two-year clinical fellowship in the Columbia University Multiple Sclerosis Center in 2010. Dr. Riley is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Riley is the Director of the Columbia MS Center, where she has led the clinical team since January 2012. She was previously the Clinical Director of the Yale MS Center in New Haven, CT. Dr. Riley regularly teaches medical students, residents and fellows in the MS clinic. She is also an investigator in clinical trials related to multiple sclerosis and is particularly interested in furthering treatments for progressive MS. Columbia University's Multiple Sclerosis Center is a premier treatment and research facility for individuals living with multiple sclerosis. Our center remains dedicated to providing the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care available to our patients.

Jinsy A. Andrews, MD, MSc, FAAN is an Associate Professor of Neurology, in the Division of Neuromuscular Medicine and serves as the Director of Neuromuscular Clinical Trials. She currently oversees neuromuscular clinical trials and cares for patients with neuromuscular disease, primarily with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Dr. Andrews has extensive experience in all phases of human clinical trials and drug development in both the academic and industry settings. Dr. Andrews is the elected co-chair of the Northeastern ALS (NEALS) Consortium, which is a network of over 100 ALS clinical research centers internationally. She is also elected to the National Board of Trustees of the ALS Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN). Dr. Andrews has also received the Diamond Award for ALS clinical research from Wings Over Wall Street and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.Dr. Andrews received her BS from Union College, M.Sc. in Biostatistics (Patient-Oriented Research) from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health and M.D. from Albany Medical College. She completed her residency training in Neurology at the University of Connecticut and served as the Chief Neurology Resident in her final year. Dr. Andrews completed fellowship training in Neuromuscular Disease/ALS and Clinical Neurophysiology at Columbia University. She is board certified in Neurology, Neuromuscular Disease, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Dr. Ewa Koziorynska is an assistant professor of Clinical Neurology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, in the Division of Epilepsy and Sleep. She is board-certified in Neurology, Sleep Medicine, Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology.Dr. Ewa Koziorynska graduated from Pomeranian Medical University in Poland. After her Neurology Residency at UMDNJ in New Jersey she completed a two year fellowship in Epilepsy at Yale University. Prior to joining the faculty at Columbia University Medical Center Dr. Koziorynska was an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at SUNY Downstate, and prior to that at New York University, Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. At New York University in addition to working as Attending Physician (Epileptologist) she also trained in Sleep Medicine, at New York Sleep Institute Sleep Disorders Center.Dr. Koziorynska's main areas of clinical interest include the comprehensive management of patients with Sleep Disorders and Epilepsy. Her expertise includes interpretation of Sleep Studies, EEG, Video-EEG monitoring, and intra-operative monitoring.
