St. Lawrence Health Alliance (SLHA) is a management service organization providing quality, cost-effective services to the physician community of the North Country of New York State. SLHA was incorporated in 1995 as a for-profit corporation functioning independently with a board of directors and an executive director. SLHA provides a wide range of services to implement a physician practice from start-up through full practice. Through these services, St. Lawrence Health Alliance will help to enhance the operational, business and clinical performance of its clients, and build growth and stability in the rapidly changing healthcare environment.

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Luc Perrier, MD, FRCPSC, enjoys being part of the community where he provides care to patients and has been living in St. Lawrence County since 1999. He earned his medical degree from the University of Montreal in Quebec, Canada, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Perrier completed a Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship at Sainte Justine Hospital in Quebec. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada.

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon David Newman, MD, FAAHKS, FRCSC, has diverse orthopedic experience with skills acquired in Australia, Canada, and the United States. After earning his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands, Dr. Newman completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Newman completed Arthroplasty Fellowships at Queen’s University in Ontario, and in Perth, Australia. He also completed the Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Ontario. Dr. Newman is a Fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Newman has a keen interest in technologies improving the accuracy and outcome of surgery and utilizes patients' specific 3D planning and instrumentation for total knee replacements.
