History

Deep Roots in New York Hyman Smith Coffee is a division of Smith Housewares and Restaurant Supply and is one of the oldest businesses in Syracuse, New York. In fact, our family-owned-and-operated and locally owned business has been in the same location since 1946 and has been serving Syracuse and customers nationwide for more than 120 years. This is a sixth generation family business located in an 1840s Erie Canal building in the center of downtown Syracuse. Smith's has grown from its humble immigrant roots into a versatile company with many departments.

Specialties

We sell fresh, bold coffee which is roasted right here in our store. All of our 30 signature blends and straight coffees are roasted for a bold, rich flavor. We have a coffee for anyone, from light roast to a heavy french roast, Hyman Smith's has a coffee for you.
