The entrance fee is way out of whack for the surrounding area. I guess it's a nice day trip for UES dwellers but we HV people can't afford it. Other than that great exhibition place for local artists.
Charging 30 dollars to see 20 pieces feels like a ripoff. The art was pedestrian and contrived. We were there less than 30 minutes. Really sad.
The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, or HVCCA for short, is a really dynamic center which hosts exciting and innovative exhibitions both in its main gallery and its mezzanine gallery....
I went to HVCCA today for the first time for the baby-wearing/stroller tour which starts a half hour before open to the public for those of us with babies worried about distracting gallery...
