Hudson Anchor Restaurant

History

This was the site of the old Tappan Zee Inn in the 1950's. It's been remodeled with a nod to its homey past. The paintings on the walls were all painted by the former owner who built the building and the bar: they include scenes of the Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse, the old Tappan Zee Bridge, the former GM plant across the street and scenes from various ferry boats that travelled the Hudson River in years past.
