Founded in 1872, Howland Public Library provides materials and services to community residents obtain information meeting personal, educational and professional needs. It provides reading materials, reference services to students (at all academic levels) and other information seekers. Located in Beacon, N.Y., the library offers programs and activities for adults and seniors, including several book discussion groups. It has a collection of books, graphic novels, including comic books, anime and video games. The library serves as a learning and activities center for all residents of the Beacon City School District.

Like Joe M., I have been blessed that I have never been to a bad library. Seems like libraries attract friendly librarians and patrons. Am a heavy user of ordering both interlibrary loan books...
