Hot Dog Beach in East Quogue, NY is a newly acquired beach property by the Town of Southampton. With a rich history and popularity among locals, the beach is currently undergoing a facelift, including the restoration of boardwalks, the construction of an ADA compliant ramp and deck platform, and the installation of parking spaces and security lighting. This project is funded by Park Reserve Funds, CPF, and CDBG, and is expected to be completed by fall/winter 2018.
Hot Dog Beach, also known as Triton Beach, was purchased by the Town of Southampton in 2003 after a restaurant on the property was destroyed by fire. The ongoing construction aims to enhance accessibility and amenities for visitors, ensuring a pleasant beach experience.
