The New York City District Council of Carpenters is a representative body comprised of more than 21,000 union members. It operates labor management, political action, organizing, and benefits and wages departments. The council represents floor coverers, cabinet makers, millwrights, dock builders and residential carpenters. The New York City District Council of Carpenters members include the New York Union Carpenters Motorcycle Riding Club, United American-Euro Club and Carpenters Latino Club. It maintains Labor Technical College, which is a training center that conducts training for over 1,700 registered apprentices. Additionally, the New York City District Council of Carpenters administers various anticorruption and antiharassment programs.

Tech Kids Unlimited is a not-for-profit technology-based educational organization for kids ages 7 to 20 with special needs. Our program was created specifically to work with students with IEPs and 504 plans.

AFS International is one of the world s largest community-based volunteer organizations providing intercultural learning and international exchange programs in more than 50 countries. The organization provides inbound and outbound programs for students and teachers, including sending students to live in other countries and special training and seminars for teachers. It monitors publications, periodicals and Web sites that relate to the AFS intercultural experience. The organization receives funds from program fees, corporate sponsorships and grants and donations from foundations, governments and individuals. It is headquartered in New York City.
