Honor Wines

History

I wanted to create a wine shop that I would want to shop in...one that was friendly, well stocked with interesting, off-the-beaten-path wines that were special and reasonable. A place that was easy to get lost in...reading labels and thinking of wine travel locations! I also wanted to create a shop that would harken back to a time when friends and neighbors shopped locally, to start a return to Main Street shopping in my own hometown , blocks from where I actually live. I supervised the extensive renovation and designed the interior, using reclaimed wood for shelving and assorted antiques and repurposed furniture throughout the shop. Although I am not an academically trained wino, I have written for Organic Wine Journal, did some wine/travel and tasted hundreds of wines. I knew I wanted to focus on natural wines or wines that are traditionally made or small family winemakers. And those are the wines that are mostly on my beautiful, rustic shelves!!

We specialize in sourcing delicious wines, natural, organic, biodynamic and small batch wines from all over the world. We are excited to bring the world of terroir-driven wines to our shop to share with our friends, neighbors and customers!
