North Country Kids is an early intervention and preschool agency that provides support and educational services. Located in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the agency offers early intervention services to children in the age group of birth to five years of age. It also provides evaluation, assessment and counseling services. North Country Kids offers motor development and speech, cognitive and behavior therapy services. The agency works with child care centers and community playgroups to develop the language skills of children with disabilities. North Country Kids conducts workshops on topics, such as behavior management, cognitive development and language disorders. It additionally provides medical assistance services to children with hearing and visual impairments.
