Hillcrest Fire Company-Mt Ivey Fire Station

Hillcrest Fire Company No. 1, organized in 1915, provides essential fire protection and rescue services to over 10,000 residents across a 36-square-mile area in Pomona, NY. As an all-volunteer department, it boasts a robust membership of approximately 250, with around 115 active members, and operates a diverse fleet of 16 apparatus from three fire stations.

Known as Department 6 on the Rockland County fire radio, Hillcrest is the second busiest department in the county and actively engages the community through fire safety education.
