I am a board-certified pathologist in anatomic and clinical pathology with expertise in the surgical pathology of tumors of the genitourinary system. Within our group, every year we examine thousands of biopsies and resections from tumors of the prostate, kidney, bladder, and testis. This enables us to establish the correct diagnosis and the extent of these tumors.

I am a gastrointestinal pathologist interested in cancer genetics with a strong focus on pancreatic cancer. I am also Director of the David M. Rubenstein Center for Pancreatic Cancer Research. My research interests include understanding the role of somatic mutations in DNA, the genetic blueprint of all living cells, in tumorigenesis, metastasis and treatment resistance.

As a psychologist within Employee Health and Wellness and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), I provide essential psychological support to all employees.
