The Helderberg Brewery is a project of the Sustainable Communities Program at the Carey Institute for Global Good in Rensselaerville, NY. Our grand opening was in March 2016.

Helderberg Brewery is a NYS Farm Brewery and tap room on the beautiful, 100-acre estate of the Carey Institute for Global Good in historic Rensselaerville, NY. We source nearly 100% of our hops and grain from local farms. With easy access to the Edmund Niles Huyck Preserve trail system and a short drive to Kuhar Family Farm Market & Cafe, we are a great day-trip destination. Our outdoor patio and fireplace are open in the summer and fall months and we welcome families with children. Your purchases at the brewery directly support New York State farmers and our craft beverage incubator. We hope you enjoy our locally grown and brewed beer.
