The Hebrew Educational Society, also known as HES, is a nonprofit, Jewish community center that serves more than 700 individuals on a daily basis. Founded in 1899, it provides social, child care and recreational programs. The center also offers food services for senior citizens in southeastern Brooklyn in New York.
