Hana Azizi, MD

Christopher J. Visco, MD, FAAPMR, RMSK is an Assistant Professor at Columbia University Medical Center's Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine, an Assistant Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Sports Medicine Fellowship Director, and Associate Residency Program Director. He specializes in treating patients with sports and spine injuries. He completed his residency in PM&R at Kessler/UMDNJ and his Spine and Sports Fellowship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago/Northwestern University. His main areas of interest are in sports and musculoskeletal medicine, applications of diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, preventative and regenerative musculoskeletal care, and medical education. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, and is a registered musculoskeletal sonographer. He is an award-winning teacher, has been an invited lecturer internationally, edited a textbook, is a peer-reviewer for multiple journals and has been a regional, national and international course director multiple times. Dr. Myers received his MD degree from SUNY, Downstate Medical Center in 1961. He trained in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and completed a one-year post-doctoral research fellowship (NINDB) in neuromuscular disease at that facility. He did his military service in the Air Force at the Aerospace Medical Research Laboratories in Dayton Ohio, working on exercise physiology projects. He then had further residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and has remained there since. He is now the A. David Gurewitsch Professor Emeritus of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine and Special Lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Myers has a special interest in neuromuscular diseases and although now semi retired he is a senior attending physician at the Spinal Injury Clinic, rounds with the rehab residents on the consult services and has a limited private practice at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC). He was the principal rehabilitation physician at the MDA Clinic at CUMC for over 37 years and was the founder and Co-director of the MDA Clinic at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ for almost as long. Dr. Myers served on the professional advisory committees of the CMT Association and the NYC Chapter of the MS Society. He was on various other hospital, university and medical society committees and has written a number of articles and chapters. He was Co-Chief Editor of the Third Edition of Downey and Darling's Physiological Basis of Rehabilitation Medicine. He has been listed in Castle Connolly’s America's Top Doctors, Top Doctors New York Metro Area and in New York Magazine’s Best Doctors when he was practicing full-time. Dr. Myers has been married to his wife, Jacqueline, for over 50 years and has 3 children.

Scott H. Troob M.D is a double-boarded Head and Neck Oncologist & Microvascular and Facial Plastic Surgeon nationally recognized for providing integrated oncologic and reconstructive care. He currently serves as the Division Chief of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. During his time at Columbia, he developed the Head and Neck Free Tissue Transfer and Facial Reanimation programs and has earned a reputation for technical excellence and compassionate patient care. He specializes in the treatment of benign conditions of the head and neck as well as the medical and surgical treatment of cancers of the skin, oral cavity, oropharynx, larynx, hypopharynx, sinonasal tract, salivary glands, and skull base. Additionally, Dr. Troob employs state-of-the-art tissue repair and microsurgical techniques to perform reconstructive surgery for patients following head and neck cancer treatment, facial trauma, and facial paralysis. Dr. Troob is a proud graduate of Columbia (CC ’04) where he received his undergraduate BA in Biology and served as the Captain of the Men’s Swimming and Diving Team. He then attended Jefferson Medical College where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He went on to complete his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Residency in 2014 at NYU, where he was selected for the Gold Humanism Society in recognition of his excellence in humanistic patient care, leadership, compassion, and dedication to service. Following residency, he left New York for Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), where he completed a fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Oncology, Robotic, & Skull Base Surgery in 2015. He remained at OHSU to complete a second fellowship in Microvascular and Facial Plastic Surgery in 2016. Beyond his interest in oncology and reconstruction, Dr. Troob treats a variety of disorders of the salivary glands, focusing on minimally invasive procedures (sialoendoscopy) which allow for treatment of strictures and stones without external incisions.
