Hajir E. Dilmanian, MD, is the director of echocardiography at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and a clinical professor of medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Dilmanian is a noninvasive cardiologist who specializing in cardiovascular diseases and nuclear cardiology and sees patients with conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, and atrial fibrillation. His areas of interest include structural heart disease and cardiac epidemiology. After graduating from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, Dr. Dilmanian served both his internship and residency at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Khan has been involved in a number of clinical and translational research studies. His research focuses on optimizing the effectiveness of immunotherapy in solid malignancies. He has published a number of research articles and is actively involved as an investigator in several clinical trials. He has presented his research findings at several professional conferences and meetings. Dr. Khan is a member of several national and international professional societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Society of Immunotherapy in Cancer (SITC), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
