I have an art and theatre background, since high school til present, but have done hair as my primary source of income ever since going to Bruno's School of Hair Design in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1983-4. I have never considered myself a hairstylist...I can do too many things that just happen to enhance that skill...but it is the thing I have done practically every day of my life. I am always figuring out what I am doing with a critical mind...so the outcome is essentially art and an ongoing life quest to find out what your hair wants to be when it grows out...lol.
