Dr. H. Beatrice Im is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in History and received her M.D. from SUNY Upstate Medical University. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. After completing her residency, Dr. Im practiced and taught at Bugando Medical Center and the Weill-Bugando University College of Health Sciences in Mwanza, Tanzania. While there, she worked closely with local students and residents, focusing on improving emergency obstetrical care as well as working with local OB/GYN doctors to start programs in cervical cancer screening, emergency obstetric ultrasound, and laparoscopy. She returned to the United States with a deeper appreciation for female reproductive health care access. Since her return, Dr. Im has worked within the NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine systems in different capacities throughout the years. She now joins the company of her colleagues at the East 80th Street location as a generalist OB/GYN.Most of Dr. Im's time outside of work is occupied by running around after three little girls, a math teacher husband, and the Tanzanian village cat, Tom (her only boy). She also enjoys gardening and one day hopes to grow something edible.

Dr. Sidney Wu is the Director of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. Originally from California, she moved to the East Coast to attend Yale University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. During her undergraduate years, her strong interest in women's health was reflected through her extracurricular volunteer and work organizations. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1998, fully committed to a career dedicated to women's health.She completed her residency training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in 2002, and stayed as a voluntary attending with a clinical instructor appointment with Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Wu previously worked in private practice, where she provided continuous, high-quality care to thousands of patients. She is now a full-time faculty member at Weill Cornell Medicine, focusing on general obstetrics and gynecology and offering comprehensive care to women from their teenage years through menopause.Dr. Wu has maintained a continuous affiliation with NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she holds surgical and obstetrical privileges. She is actively involved in the medical center's teaching environment, mentoring both medical students and resident physicians.Dr. Wu is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese.
