Sabrine Laue joins the Department of Anesthesiology as a nurse practicioner in the Division of Pain Management. In her role, Sabrine will be responsible for patient care in the outpatient pain clinics at the Och Spine at NewYork-Presbyterian at the Weill Cornell Medicine Center for Comprehensive Spine Care, Lower Manhattan and West Side. She will triage patient inquiries, communicate test results, coordinate multidisciplinary health care services and arrange diagnostic tests.Sabrine was born in Denmark and raised in South Florida. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida International University and her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Miami.Sabrine has over nine years of nursing experience working as a neurosurgical critical care RN in the NICU at Jackson Memorial Hospital, as an advanced practice registered nurse at Palmetto General Hospital, on the COVID-19 Response Team at NYP Allen Hospital, as a critical care RN at George Washington University Hospital and most recently here at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center as a float pool critical care nurse in various ICUs.Outside of work, Sabrine enjoys traveling, reading, visiting friends and family, working out and exploring New York City.

Corina is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in outpatient pain management at Weill Cornell Medicine. She brings a comprehensive and compassionate approach to patient care, supported by over a decade of healthcare experience across various specialtiesCorina began her career as a medical assistant in an outpatient pain management clinic before becoming a registered nurse. For six years, she cared for patients on the inpatient bone marrow transplant unit at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Hospital, where she developed expertise in hematology-oncology and complex care coordination.She earned her B.S. in Neuroscience and Psychology from Macaulay Honors College, her B.S. in Nursing from New York University, and her M.S in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from Hunter College’s Bellevue School of Nursing.Born and raised in different neighborhoods throughout New York City, Corina remains deeply connected to the community she serves. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring diverse music genres, and discovering the city's best hidden culinary gems.

Payal Patel is board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner originally from Metro-Detroit, Michigan. She obtained her Bachelors in Neuroscience from Michigan State University and her Bachelors in Nursing from University of Detroit Mercy. Payal has over 4.5 years of nursing experience where she was initially trained in the Neuro Trauma ICU and later transitioned to Medical-Surgical ICU at Ascension Providence hospital in Michigan.While working in the ICU, Payal went on to complete her Doctorate or Nursing Practice as part of the Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She was an active board member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and volunteered at the UofM Free Clinic for uninsured/underinsured patients. During her studies, she had clinical training at Michigan Medicine's Neurosurgery Spine Center where she gained vast knowledge on chronic and acute pain related to spinal diseases.
