Greenport Pottery, located in Southold, NY, has been crafting handmade high-fired stoneware since 1981. The pottery is formed using traditional techniques on a potter's wheel and hand tools, ensuring each piece possesses a unique character that sets it apart from mass-produced alternatives.
All of their stoneware is high-fired to 2350 degrees Fahrenheit, resulting in a durable vitreous clay body suitable for everyday use. The glazes are handmade and entirely free of toxins, allowing the pottery to be food, dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe, while avoiding extremes like stovetop broiling and freezing.
