The Greenpoint Gallery, established in 2003 by artist and musician Shawn James, is a non-profit arts organization in New York City. Dedicated to supporting emerging artists, the gallery offers affordable exhibition space, classes, lectures, and career counseling to empower artists and help them navigate the art market.
With a focus on fostering creativity and business skills, the Greenpoint Gallery also collaborates with community youth programs, such as the NYC-sponsored WLEP Work, Learn Grow Program and the Oasis Youth program. Their large, well-lit, and open space is available for year-round rentals, with the revenue generated contributing to maintaining the facility and funding art education programs for NYC youth.
