HistoryThe farm originated as a dairy farm, coupled with chickens for 75 years, with dairy phasing out in the early 1980s. When I acquired the farm in 2009, we planted a small apple orchard, then expanded the blueberry, raspberry, rhubarb, and asparagus plantings. Selling cut flowers (from our perennial gardens) started with canning jars sitting atop a folding table and tent in 2003. Adding the farm stand in 2010 provided a more shaded, formal roadside market for our farm goodies. 2014 marked our first year of being certified organic for many of our farm products. Creating the Produce CSA and Bouquet Subscriptions in 2015 serve another opportunity to promote, healthy, locally-grown produce and fresh flowers.SpecialtiesFourth-generation family farm grows certified organic cut flowers, herbs, produce, and native perennials. We also sell local eggs in our Farm Store, open year-round. Our 2022 customizable CSA will last 26 weeks and features the CSA Farm Card: choose what produce you want, the quantity, and which week you want it. Weekly CSA Farm is also available. Curbside pickup is always available; delivery will be available in 2022. Visit our summer Bouquet Bar (at Farm Store) to make your own bouquet in season. Want to arrange your own flowers? Our DIY Buckets of Blooms are the perfect solution. Would you rather we make bouquets for your wedding, then contact us. Our fresh, local, certified organic Bouquet Subscriptions are great gifts for friends, the home, office, or business. In addition, we offer workshops year-round (in-person and on-line) for students of all ages.
