Grassroots Artists Movement

Grassroots Artists Movement (GAME) is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, dedicated to empowering Black and Latino communities through Hip Hop art and social justice programming. With a mission to combat socioeconomic and political injustices, GAME focuses on issues such as youth incarceration, healthcare inequity, and labor rights for artists.

Under the leadership of Executive Director Francis Pea, GAME has developed various initiatives, including the long-term project Black VegFest, which promotes health and addresses overlapping oppressions in communities. Their youth programs, such as REBEL, aim to foster leadership and provide alternatives to incarceration while advocating for better access to nutritious food in underserved areas.
