We went into China Town with the goal of finding a restaurant that looked busy - that's how we found Golden Shanghai. We waited about 5 minutes for a table. The menu was great - lots of options....

I pass by this restaurant all the time with its giant storefront. The interior is reminiscent of 1980s/1990s giant chinese diners, so I had to give this place a try.. But aaaahhh not going to lie...

Of course we HAVE to eat a meal in China Town while in New York City for a few days - it's practically mandatory! Luckily I didn't check yelp before randomly choosing this place! The poor reviews...
