History
I designed jewelry for many years, Gold & Grit however, came about in 2016, after being given the opportunity to open my first brick and mortar. When I first opened my doors, my mother who is also a jewelry designer and myself, where the only two creating jewelry for the shop and as I began being noticed and loved by my patrons, I decided that I wanted to offer a larger selection of unique and handcrafted jewelry as well as other items I loved. So I began contacting these amazing designers who I had admired and loved over the years, asking if they would be interested in featuring there work at Gold & Grit. Soon after candles, home accents and greeting cards followed. And from there it became my own little curated shop of jewelry and home goods that I share with those who have a deep love for handmade and handcrafted treasures right here in NYC .
