Historic homes are part of Revolutionary War Land Tract used as compensation to local colonial soldier in lieu of pay from the Continental Congress. 1861 Civil War recruitment rally on front lawn of main home and also part of the Underground Railroad by Harriet Tubman. Amish drive by daily in their quaint buggies and wagons.
