Dr. James research interests include the sensitivity of allergy testing when a child is having an asthma flare up and the relationship between sleep apnea and asthma. Dr. James received the Top Doctor Award in Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine on Staten Island 2017 and in Brooklyn 2018. She is an active member of the Pediatric Pulmonology Section of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. As an Associate Professor of the Pediatrics, at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Dr. James is very active with the education of both Residents and Students.
