Geraldine Brusca-Augello, D.O. is a radiologist specializing in Cardiothoracic Imaging. Following a transitional internship at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dr. Brusca-Augello completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology from 1999 to 2003 at Winthrop University Hospital., where she also served as Chief Resident during her senior year. She completed her fellowship in Body Imaging from Mount Sinai Hospital in 2004.After seventeen subsequent years in clinical practice at NYU Langone Health, Dr. Brusca-Augello joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in August 2021 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology. Laura B. Madsen, M.D. is a fellowship-trained radiologist with specialization in Breast Imaging. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus.Dr. Madsen graduated from Harvard University where she earned her B.A. in History and Science in 2011. She was awarded her M.Sc. in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2012. She earned her M.D. at New York Medical College in 2016.Following an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Mount Sinai West, Dr. Madsen completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at NYU Langone Hospital- Long Island in 2021, where she was elected and served as Chief Resident. She completed her fellowship in Breast Imaging at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in June 2022. Dr. Madsen joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in October 2022 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology.Dr. Madsen's clinical expertise is in Breast Imaging. She interprets a variety of studies including mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI and performs breast interventional procedures including stereotactic breast biopsies, ultrasound guided breast biopsies and MRI guided breast biopsies.
