Named restaurant after my mother Gaetana Demartino, who was an an amazing and intuitive cook.She immigrated with her family from Sicily and settled in Greenwich Village. Gaetana soon learned her family's simple and delicious recipes. As a mom she instructed her children in the fine art of Sicilian specialities. And because of her we dedicated this restaurant. Gaetana's Cucina Italiana Frank SAPONARA owner.
